Transparency is very important to us as a Fair Trade company. Therefore, we provide an overview of the organizations and institutes of which we are members or which regularly audit us.

• World Fair Trade Organization
  The WFTO is a worldwide network of Fair Trade organizations. The entire supply chain is represented. Members are producer organizations as well as importers and traders. El Puente is also a guaranteed member and audited by the WFTO Guarantee System.

• Fairtrade
  The well-known green-blue Fairtrade label on product packaging shows that the product complies with the standards developed by Fairtrade International. Fairtrade Germany is a seal organization that does not trade in products itself, but awards the seal in accordance with the guidelines. The certified manufacturers have contractually agreed to comply with the Fairtrade standards and to have this monitored. The Fairtrade seal is purely a product seal and - in contrast to the WFTO label - does not consider the fundamental trading practices of a company.

• EU-Organic-Seal
  About 80 % of our food is grown under organic conditions. They carry the EU organic seal and thus comply with the strict standards of EU legislation on organic farming.
